Gracious Living offers you the convenience of a full range of interior design services all under the one roof. From initial discussion and design, through to manufacturing, installation of furniture and window treatments - we have everything covered.

Gracious Living Limited started in 1981, when an opportunity was taken to start a privately owned company that specialised in interior design and furnishings complemented by a personalised, honest and trustworthy approach to business – Welcome to Gracious Living.

Now in 2020, still owned and managed within the same family, Gracious Living has a reputation of being one of the leading interior design and furnishing companies in New Zealand. With a showroom conveniently located in the heart of Remuera, Gracious Living has a complete range of services available which include; interior design, an extensive furniture collection, reupholstery, full window treatment solutions through to manufacturing, alterations and our very own Technical Manager to ensure the measuring and installation of the project completes the overall process.

With a fabric collection that comprises of over 50,000 different fabric samples along with an extensive wallpaper collection, Gracious Living is able to offer you a fantastic range to choose from.

In addition to this, Gracious Living has an ever changing range of furniture that includes sofas, chairs, ottomans, hardfurniture and accessories, and if we don’t have the right piece of furniture in our showroom that suits, we are then able to source almost any design available from other New Zealand manufacturers within the market place to ensure that your design requirements are fulfilled.

And finally, to compliment your home, Gracious Living has an excellent range of homeware and giftware. Our range is sourced from both within New Zealand and from around the world to ensure that the very best home living products are made available to you.

Tom has been Managing Director of Gracious Living since 2004 having taken over from his parents who started the company in 1981.
Tom is well aware of the high expectations the company's clients expect. Tom's primary focus is the overall management and strategic direction of the company as well as the furniture and reupholstery sectors of the business and of course managing his own portfolio of clients.Tom's professional background has been primarily with multi-national companies here in New Zealand and overseas including working at Liberty in England with sales, marketing and logistics his main expertise.

She offers a discerning eye for design and a good knowledge of interior and exterior finishes. Her commitment to communication, attention to detail, and listening to the needs of the clients are her main priority. In doing so, she helps them to achieve aesthetically pleasing, stylish and functional interiors.

Suzy joined Gracious Living after spending much of her time in Melbourne where she lived for 20 years and completed her tertiary studies, beginning with a year in interior architecture and graduating with distinction as an interior designer and decorator from RMIT University. Suzy worked alongside prominent Melbourne interior designers for the last three years before heading back to New Zealand. Suzy is a registered Spatial Member with the Designers Institute of New Zealand.
